The first burn for a soy wax candle is the most important. We call it the memory burn. It is important to be sure the candle gets to burn all the way across the top during the first burn. This can take more than an hour depending on candle diameter. Failure to provide the candle enough time for the first burn will almost always result in the candle never burning all the way across. We call this tunneling. 

Keep away from children. Always burn within sight. Never leave a candle unattended. Always burn on a flat surface. Trim wicks down to 1/4 inch before use. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
